Terms of Service

Welcome to CookPilot (“the App”), owned and operated by Good Problem LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using CookPilot, you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must stop using the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Good Problem LLC.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use CookPilot. To purchase a subscription, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legal contract.

2. Description of Service

CookPilot provides tools for:

• Importing, organizing, and saving recipes
• Editing recipes using AI-powered text generation
• Personalizing recipes and storing notes, tags, and preferences
• Accessing premium features through a monthly subscription

CookPilot is not a medical, nutritional, or dietary service. AI outputs may contain inaccuracies, and you agree not to rely on them for health or safety decisions.

3. License to Store Content

By importing or uploading recipe content into CookPilot, you grant Good Problem LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the CookPilot service.

4. Copyright Complaints

If you believe copyrighted content has been uploaded or stored through CookPilot without authorization, please contact us and we will review the request and remove the material if appropriate.

5. User Accounts

To access certain features, including syncing, you must create an account using email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Google.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Providing accurate information
• All activity occurring under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. User Content

CookPilot allows users to upload, create, or store content including recipes, notes, images, and links (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting content through CookPilot, you grant Good Problem LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to upload or share any content within the app.

7. AI Features

CookPilot provides optional AI-powered features that help edit and adapt recipes. These features may generate text based on recipe content you provide.

AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies, substitutions that are unsuitable for certain recipes, or other errors.

CookPilot does not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or nutritional value of AI-generated suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing recipe edits and ensuring they are appropriate for your use.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the service
• Upload malicious code or harmful content
• Abuse AI features or attempt to generate harmful content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to CookPilot if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that could harm the platform or other users.

10. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of CookPilot may require a paid subscription.

Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account settings.

11. Limitation of Liability

CookPilot is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Good Problem LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.

This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from inaccurate AI-generated content, recipe substitutions, or cooking outcomes.

12. Intellectual Property

The CookPilot app, including its design, branding, and software, is the property of Good Problem LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on CookPilot without permission.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If significant changes are made, we may notify users through the app or website.

Continued use of CookPilot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
